Bike for Bibles

On Saturday 28th April 2012 , staff, school students and parents from Illawarra Christian School - Corderaux and Tongarra Campus will be riding from Yass to Wollongong to raise funds for the Bible Society's Literacy and Reconciliation Project in Rwanda. This is our 5th annual ride and over 40 riders will be participating.

Bike for Bibles is an exciting activity employed by Bible Societies around the world to raise funds for yearly selected programs. The annual ride generates funds for Bible translation, publication and distribution projects globally. This year the ride is in support of the Rwanda Project. The aim of the project is to teach children to read using New Reader Scripture portions. This will improve their education and their chances of employment as well as teaching them of God's love for them.

Through Bike for Bibles, people in the Illawarra, of all ages, walks of life, and denominatiosn can achieve fitness, fun and fellowship with a Christian purpose.

Illawarra Christian School 30 Years On .......

Our school will be turning 30 years old during 2012 and we wish to reflect on the many blessings God has given us.

As part of the 30th year celebrations we are planning a number of events and invite you to be a part of these exciting celebrations.

Cordeaux Campus Dedication Service - From 9am, Cordeaux Campus in the new school hall.

Tongarra Campus Country Fair

31st March:-

Cordeaux Campus Twilight Fete

During Term 1 we will also be opening the New Multi Purpose Hall at Tongarra Campus and

the New Multi Purpose Hall and Classrooms at Cordeaux Campus.

Term 2 2012:-

Alumni Dinners for Tongarra and Cordeaux Campuses - dates to be advised.
